The 1 Dream Tour of South Africa has completed and 11 young men from the Central Coast of California have had their lives changed forever. 1 DREAM - THE "BEST DAY EVER" March 24, 2008
1 Dream members Dylan Royer and James Kirschner described it as the "best day ever" in the story about their day in Cape Town. Click on the above photo for the full story. The day also featured a 93-39 victory for 1 Dream over the Gladiators. Jerry Casey led the team with 23 points while Dylan Royer added 19 and Mitch Woolpert had 15.

1 DREAM DROPS GAME TO PROFESSIONAL TEAM March 22, 2008
The 1 Dream squad was the decided underdog in today's game versus the Eboli Magic. The Magic are the top ranked team in the Johannesburg League of Professionals and featured players between the ages of 20 and 34 years of age. 1 Dream played a very strong first half trailing by a 46-44 score. However the second half saw 1 Dream outscored 52-35 to finish with a 98-80 defeat. 1 Dream committed 32 fouls to the Magic's 14. Dylan Royer paced 1 Dream with 31 points. He was joined in double figures by Julian Demalleville with 12 points and Shane Kennedy with 10.
1 DREAM WINS BIG March 21, 2008
The 1 Dream squad was too much for Holy Names College to handle as 1 Dream won by a 115-54 score. 1 Dream had 6 players in double figures with Julian Demalleville leading them with 21 points, Jerry Casey with 20 and Dylan Royer with 19. Also in double digits were Sam Cowitz (14), Mitch Woolpert (13) and James Kirschner (12).

The Athletes To Africa will be featured in a series of journal entries in the The Tribune. Beginning March 19th, The Tribune will be covering the 11 players on their trip of a lifetime. In addition the players will be contributing journal entries to The Tribune on a daily basis. Each player will have one day where they will have their stories featured.
