Jonathan Velez is a late addition to the 1 Dream Foundation but a most welcome one. Velez, originally hailing from Bayamon, Puerto Rico is having a great summer this far and has impressed the coaches with his smooth shooting stroke and athleticism.
Jonathan finished up with a solid summer for the Dreamers. Leading the team in dunks from the guard position, Velez showed signs of domination. However, consistency is the difference between greatness and normalcy for Velez. He can score points in bunches and is as physical as they come at the guard position. He is looking to improve upon his weaknesses this season and help his new school win as many games as possible. (8/1/08)
