1 DREAM OPENS SOME EYES IN LAS VEGAS

1 Dream came close to upsetting one of the nation's top teams, the Nike sponsored Mac Irvin Fire in the round of 32 at the Las Vegas Fab 48.  Leading most of the game, the Fire used their full court pressure defense to get some key turnovers in the last few minutes to overcome a 12 point second half deficit.  1 Dream was plagued by foul problems to starting forward Cyril Bilong who was limited to just 4 minutes in the second half.  Daniel Gomis was huge for the Dreamers as he controlled the boards and blocked several shots.  The 1 Dream Blue squad finished with a 2-2 record.  Team Red, was 1-3 in Vegas, losing two games by 6 points apiece before winning their final game by 22.  Both teams head to Los Angeles on Tuesday for the HAX West Coast Challenge.
